Position: Site Manager (Highways and Roads)

Our client is a leading North West based civil engineering company specialising in highways, roads, and infrastructure projects. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, they are committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As they expand their operations, they are looking for talented and experienced Site Managers to join their dynamic team for long-term permanent positions. While they prefer permanent staff, freelance opportunities are also available for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage highway and road construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and implement necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
• Resolve any onsite issues or conflicts efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on highways and road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.
• CSCS card and SMSTS certification are required.
